If you are a UK taxpayer, you can make your donation to CORDA worth more by making a Gift Aid declaration.
For every £1 you give to CORDA, we can claim a further 28p from HM Revenue & Customs at no cost to you. So your donation of £10 would be worth £12.80 to us.
To let us claim the extra money all you have to do is fill in a Gift Aid declaration.
Anyone who has paid enough income tax or capital gains tax to cover the amount reclaimed by CORDA in the current financial year can use Gift Aid.
If you are a taxpayer and are donating to CORDA using the JustGiving online form, please remember to indicate that you want us to benefit from Gift Aid.
If you are collecting sponsorship money or holding an event at which people are donating money to CORDA, please ensure they fill in a sponsorship form and tick the Gift Aid box.
In order for CORDA to benefit from Gift Aid on any donation, the Gift Aid declaration form must include the donor's full name and full home address.
We can only claim Gift Aid directly at the basic rate of tax. If you pay tax at the higher rate, you will be able to claim a rebate based on the difference between the higher rate and the basic rate on your Self Assessment form. However, on your Self Assessment form you can choose to nominate CORDA to receive your rebate.
