Make a regular donation

Regular gifts are very important in helping us to continue our fight against heart disease as they let us plan ahead. It doesn't matter how much you can give, as every donation counts.

You can either set up a regular donation through JustGiving or make a donation directly from your salary through the Payroll Giving scheme.

Donate online

You can give regularly by setting up a donation online through JustGiving. Don't forget to sign up for Gift Aid if you are a taxpayer to make your gift even more valuable.

Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving is an easy way to make regular donations from your salary to CORDA and it is tax efficient too.

How it works

Your donation is taken from your pay before tax is calculated, so the amount you would normally pay in tax is paid to CORDA in addition to your donation.

If you sign up to donate £8, we get £10 as the taxman pays the rest. If you are a higher rate taxpayer, Payroll Giving becomes even more beneficial as a donation of £6 gives us £10, all at no extra cost to you.

Getting started

It is easy to donate through Payroll Giving. If your pay or pension is taxed through Pay As You Earn and your employer offers the Payroll Giving scheme, then you can donate this way. All you have to do is:

  1. Decide how much you would like to donate.
  2. Ask your payroll department for a pledge form.
  3. Complete the pledge form and pass it to your payroll department to authorise your deduction.

If you decide to give regularly to CORDA through Payroll Giving, then it would be very helpful if you could send us a copy of your completed form too, so that we can plan ahead. Please send a copy of your completed form to:

How your employer can support your giving

You can only donate through your payroll if your employer is registered to do so. If they are not registered, they can find out how employers can add Payroll Giving to their benefits package on the HM Customs and Revenue website.

Stopping your donations

We hope you would not want to cancel your regular donation, but we understand that sometimes this is necessary. Payroll Giving is very flexible: just inform your payroll department of your decision and they will do the rest. You will need to give one month's notice to cancel your gift.
